Marvin prattled on. He pointed wildly at his millionth Powerpoint slide, poking at all of its symbols and charts projected on the bare white wall of the conference room, his gestures increasingly unhinged.

It made me think of the movies. His arms looked like when you see a helicopter crash during a chase sequence and the propellers get all gnarled before the chopper blows up.

It didn't take an expert to know that Marvin had hypomania, which is a milder version of schizophrenia.
